Brent Schleisman

The City Administrator’s job involves working closely with the mayor and the City Council to implement the policies and programs, which our elected officials enact. The successful implementation of the Mayor and Council’s decisions requires the effort of all City employees. The City Administrator’s job is to direct and coordinate those efforts, along with the Department Heads, to make sure our services and programs are provided as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Administrator spends time working on major projects, dealing with City finances, and developing information for the Mayor and City Council so that they may make informed decisions. City Clerk

The City Clerk’s office is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, administering health and worker’s comp insurance, providing reconciliation of budgets, working with the auditor, selling garbage stickers, and recyclable containers, processing alcohol and cigarette permits, directing phone calls to various departments, and answering many different general questions about the city.
