PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Mount Pleasant is taking applications for the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker. This position requires a Class B CDL, ability to obtain a Pesticide License within one year of employment, mechanical experience, and the ability to perform general laborer duties of Public Works. Duties including driving trucks, operating heavy machinery, lifting containers weighing 75-100lbs and other job functions.
Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.; valid Iowa Driver’s License; 3 years experience in general construction business or municipal public works; Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes and tanker endorsements. The City of Mount Pleasant is an EOE.
